Noah_SmilesThree year old Noah Biorkman was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma in February of 2007.  He went into remission six months later but relapsed in September of 2008.

Next week he will be celebrating his last Christmas, a month early this year.  Noah has received thousands of Christmas cards and small gifts, including an angel that was specifically unique to him: “In heaven, and I’m going to be an angel.”

I connected with Meaghan Edelstein, the youngest survivor of cervical cancer, who created Spirit Jump (www.spiritjump.org).  “To get a little something, it is an escape and a connection with other people.  I completely understand- with Noah.  On top of that, it doesn’t just lift the spirit of the person battling cancer, but it takes the pressure off of the people taking care of them.   They are having a positive experience together that will be a positive uplifting memory that she will share with her child.”  Check in for more information on Meaghan.
