Raising over $55,000 in gross revenue, with over 700 runners and walkers and 120 volunteers in attendance

This was not your ordinary 5K! On Saturday, July 11, we kicked off our inaugural Brunch Run 5K at Montrose Harbor in Chicago. The inaugural 5K run/walk was announced by Constructive Noise’s Bonnie Greene and raised over $55,000 benefitting Imerman Angels’ mission to enable personalized connections that provide one-on-one support for cancer fighters, survivors and caregivers. Over 700 runners and walkers of all ages, as well as 120 volunteers joined us in an effort to ensure that nobody has to face cancer alone.

Our family friendly Brunch Run 5K was one worth running (or walking) for with great rewards and incentives for everyone. The course circled the picturesque Montrose Harbor and featured an on-course “FauxMosa” (non-alcoholic mimosa) station, a Belgian waffle station by Julian’s Recipe and a signature brunch from Chicago’s esteemed Blue Plate Catering once you crossed the finish line! Plus, participants received an event lifestyle t-shirt as a memento of the day.
