Over 200 Guests Raised Awareness for Cancer Community in Los Angeles and Surrounding Area

Los Angeles, CA (November 13, 2015) – Imerman Angels, a one-on-one cancer support community connecting those battling cancer and their caregivers with cancer survivors, showed there is no limit to cancer support at the launch of the Inaugural Casino Night Fundraiser at Michael’s Santa Monica this past Sunday, November 8th, along with sponsor Joe Siprut of Siprut PC. The evening welcomed 200 guests and raised $27,100 benefitting the Imerman Angels Los Angeles support community.

For $60 general admission and $100 VIP entry, guests received play money to bet the odds in Craps, Roulette, Poker and Blackjack, while enjoying complimentary bites and libations on Michael’s Santa Monica iconic garden patio. Winnings from the night were cashed in for raffle tickets for the chance to win prizes from Los Angeles based yoga and fitness studios, hotels, restaurants and more; along with a featured silent auction.

Attending guests heard from Imerman Angels’ Founder, Jonny Imerman, Imerman Angels Los Angeles advisory board member and radiologist, Dr. Prashant Chawla M.D., and a compelling personal account from psychoanalyst, author, and speaker Dr. Nina Savelle-Rocklin, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and joined the Imerman support community to be matched with a mentor angel.

Hosted bar and sweets provided by Erdington Americas, High Brew Coffee, JottShots!, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Line 39 Wine, Neuro Water, Pura Vida Tequila with Diabolo, Sweet Lady Jane, and VEEV Spirits. All event proceeds benefit the Imerman Angels Los Angeles cancer support community.
