This is one of the reasons why Imerman Angels has grown to help tens of thousands of people in all 50 states and more than 60 countries during the past 10 years. Fueled by a passion to make a difference and help others choose triumph over tragedy, Imerman Angels was created 10 years ago to provide cancer fighters, survivors and caregivers with one-on-one support from a Mentor Angel – a volunteer who has walked in their shoes and emerged stronger on the other side. Support seekers are carefully paired with Mentor Angels using criteria including type and stage of cancer, gender, age and lifestyle.
Imerman Angels’ initial vision has now multiplied many times over to become a movement that has connected more than 29,500 people in all 50 states and over 60 countries. Mentor Angels make a powerful impact on support seekers, shining the powerful light of hope in the midst of darkness.
