Dr. Prashant Chawla is the Director of Breast & Women’s Imaging at
Providence Tarzana Medical Center in Los Angeles, California and
joined the Imerman Angels Board of Directors in February, 2015.

Born and raised in Chicago, Dr. Chawla received his medical degree
from Rush University in Chicago and completed his medical internship
at the University of Chicago Hospitals.  He returned to Rush for his
residency in Diagnostic Radiology where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Chawla completed subspecialty fellowship training in both
Neuroradiology and Women’s Imaging from Northwestern Hospital in
Chicago. After practicing in the Chicago area for several years, he
moved with his family to Los Angeles in 2012, where he now practices.

Dr. Chawla is distinguished by the importance he places on personal
interactions with his patients. He knows that there are many qualified
physicians available to women, but too few are willing to spare a few
minutes to answer questions or provide reassurance at a difficult
time. While practicing in Chicago, he was impressed by the impact an

excited to bring Imerman Angels to his patients here.[/toggle]
