Imelda Hernandez (she/her) joined Imerman Angels as an Intern in September 2021.  Soon after completing her internship she discovered the love, passion and commitment she had for helping make someone’s cancer journey a little less lonely. Losing her grandparents has also taught her the kindness, love and compassion to support others who need guidance and resources to move forward through sickness, health and grief. 

Imelda is a graduate of Richard J. Daley College (Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Development) and National Louis University (Bachelor of Arts in Psychology).  In her free time she enjoys crafting and baking.
