Vanessa Broadway (she/her) initially joined Imerman Angels as Volunteer Coordinator in April 2018 after 16 years in Retail and Customer Service.

Vanessa was a caregiver for her mother who lost her battle with breast cancer. From that experience comes a passion for one of Imerman Angels core beliefs that no one should have to face cancer alone.

Vanessa studied French at Northeastern Illinois University. She is a native of Chicago’s Northwest side and loves to attend concerts.
