Commercial Finance Association Midwest Annual Gala Raises Nearly $40,000 for Imerman Angels
CHICAGO (June 2019) – Commercial Finance Association (CFA) Midwest, committed to supporting charities that positively impact communities where its members live and work, hosted its first CFA Cares Spring Gala, benefiting Imerman Angels. The CFA Cares Spring Gala marks one of the largest third-party event awards received by Imerman Angels in its 13 year history with proceeds totaling almost $40,000.
CFA Midwest has supported Imerman Angels since 2018, naming it the beneficiary of its member events, drawing on hundreds of leaders in the finance and banking industries. Funds raised go directly to advancing the Imerman Angels mission of providing personalized connections that enable one-on-one support to cancer fighters, survivors and caregivers.
“The Imerman Angels mission is one that is close to our hearts,” said Nick Payne, President at CFA Midwest. “We are proud and humbled to offer our support to such an amazing cause. We look forward to continuing our work with Imerman Angels and growing our partnership to create a positive impact in the Midwest and worldwide.
A follow up event, CFA’s Midwest 30th Annual Golf Invitational at Harborside International Golf Center on July 18th, 2019, will also benefit Imerman Angels.
