Partnerships

Seamlessly enhance your cancer care offering with one-on-one psychosocial support.

Peer-to-Peer Partners

Cancer support organizations, cancer centers, and health systems striving for whole-person care recognize the value of psychosocial support for their communities, but lack the staff, resources, and expertise to offer it.

Through Imerman Angels’ (IA) personalized matching process, people diagnosed with cancer, or genetic mutations that put them at risk of a cancer diagnosis, are connected with someone who’s faced a similar diagnosis – a Mentor Angel.  Individuals are matched by similar life experiences, such as age, gender and diagnosis. Cancer fighters, survivors, previvors and caregivers (Support Seekers) can ask personal questions and receive support from a peer who can offer empathy in ways others cannot.

Our turnkey partnership program manages all peer-to-peer matches and delivers expertise and resources to Support Seekers, Mentor Angels, and partner staff alike. With one of the world’s largest networks of peer mentors for cancer support, we are able to provide the highest level of psychosocial support to our partners’ community members.

Program Features:

  • Personalized peer-to-peer matching program connecting cancer fighters, survivors, previvors and caregivers with Mentor Angels, cancer confidants with similar lived experiences.
  • IA Community Events providing educational resources, information and opportunities to further support program participants and staff.
  • Virtual training for partner staff led by IA experts on best practices for educating and referring participants to the program.
  • Program participant insights including number of participant referrals, participant demographics, cancer types, and more.

Peer-to-peer mentorship was a big part of what our CEO wanted to deliver to Publicis Groupe employees as part of our Working with Cancer pledge – and Imerman Angels offered a turnkey solution to enable that connectivity for our global organization without having to navigate complex data privacy concerns.

With their guidance, we were able to begin recruitment almost immediately, scaling impact internally within a matter of months; and we’re hearing consistently positive feedback about the experience from both mentors and mentees.”
